Practice Principal

Qualified in New Zealand in 1985, and worked for 2 years there in mixed practice before travelling about Africa for a year, started working in England in 1989, spent several years working in small animal practice in Hampshire, started The Grove in 1996, now share my time between work, my large family, and modelling elite sports clothing

Saffiya Al-Hafidh DVM MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Saffiya graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in 2019. She was born in Portsmouth, and moved to Dubai at the age of 4. She then studied Veterinary Medicine in Budapest for 6 years. She has now moved back to Portsmouth where she has joined our team at The Grove. Saffiya has 2 cats called Pigs and Figs who moved with her from Budapest. Her newest addition is her kitten Malfoy, who was brought into the practice as an abandoned kitten, and luckily adopted by Saffiya!

Sarah Warner

Practice Manager & Head Nurse

Sarah joined the practice in 1997 with Greg. Sarah's joint role means she is responsible for all admin, managing the team and running our weekly nurse clinics. Sarah has owned pugs for 18 years alongside cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, a leopard gecko, ferrets and even once had over 100 chickens!

Stacey Bradey

Deputy Head Nurse

Stacey is our Deputy Head Nurse and is currently on maternity leave. She has worked in the veterinary industry for over 10 years, in 2013 Stacey joined The Grove. She has two cats of her own, Miles and Pookie, and she is often know as our crazy cat lady. Stacey has a lot of knowledge on all things pet related, so she is always available to give you the best advice!

Emma Watson

Nurse

Emma has worked in the veterinary industry for almost 18 years, she joined The Grove in 2009. She has two dogs, Jasper and Annie the Bloodhounds. Emma enjoys showing her Bloodhound Jasper and has competed in Crufts the past 3 years.

Georgie Dunn

Veterinary Nursing Assistant

Georgie joined the team in 2016, and has been working in the veterinary industry for 6 years. She loves caring for all the patients at The Grove, and enjoys seeing what each day brings, as no day is ever the same. She has a huge love for all animals big and small. Georgie has two dogs Bella and Arthur, she also has a love for guinea pigs and Harry Potter!

Lauren Morgan

Veterinary Nursing Assistant

Lauren joined The Grove in January 2018. Lauren has a love for all animals and is more than happy to spoil your pets with hugs and kisses, making sure they're well looked after when they come to visit us. Lauren lives in Portsmouth and has a dog called Eliza and a cat called Eric.

     Lydia Warner

    Veterinary Nursing Assistant

Lydia joined the team in 2019, she has a love for all animals, big or small. She is our Practice managers daughter and has helped here at The Grove since she was Little. Lydia has a Jack russellx called Minnie, a rabbit  called Peter and a horse called Tilly, which she shows at county level across the country

Lucilla Rice

Receptionist

Lou joined the team in 2017 after studying Animal Management at Southdowns College. Lou is our receptionist and will often be your first point of contact at The Grove. Lou lives in Portsmouth with her husband, two children, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and her parrot Basil.
